SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: October 20, 2026  |  Last Updated: October 20, 2026

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the operational text messaging program operated by Preferred Techs LLC ("we," "us," or "our") for field technicians, contractors, and service personnel ("Technician," "you," or "your").

01. Program Description and Purpose

By accepting a work order assignment or requesting to be scheduled for a service call through Preferred Techs LLC, you agree to participate in our field operations SMS notification program.

Messages are transactional and operational in nature and include:

  • Work order scheduling alerts and appointment confirmations.
  • Reminders and dispatch updates.
  • On-site status check-ins and prompts for job progress updates throughout the service call.
  • Job completion, punch-list, and close-out confirmations.

02. Consent and Opt-In Mechanism

Consent to receive operational text messages is collected when a technician is onboarded, assigned to, or requests a work order via our dispatch platform or technician portal.

Mandatory Work Order Notification Disclosure: Receiving operational updates via SMS is part of our work order fulfillment standard. If you do not wish to receive operational text messages, do not request or accept the assigned work order.

03. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on active dispatch activity, work order volume, and on-site duration. Typically, you will receive:

  • 1–2 messages per scheduled service call for confirmation and initial dispatch details.
  • Periodic check-ins (e.g., every 1–3 hours or upon milestone events) while on-site requesting progress updates.

04. Cost and Carrier Disclaimers

  • Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Check with your mobile carrier for details regarding your rate plan.
  • Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and regional carriers) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

05. Opt-Out / Cancellation Instructions

You may cancel the SMS service at any time:

  • Text STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, or QUIT in response to any text message you receive from us.
  • After texting STOP, you will receive a single confirmation SMS verifying you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device unless you re-subscribe or request reactivation.
  • Note: Opting out of operational text messages may impact your eligibility to be assigned or dispatched to active work orders requiring real-time milestone communication.

06. Support and Help Instructions

For assistance or questions regarding our text messaging program:

  • Text HELP to any text message you receive from us for automated assistance.
  • Email dispatch support at: support@servicep.net
  • Call our dispatch desk directly at: 720-515-5551
